Overview

Career and Technical Education buildings are where K-12 architecture gets complicated — and where rendering gets interesting. A single building serves automotive technology, culinary arts, health science, aviation, fabrication, and more. Every pathway has a different spatial character: the culinary kitchen is hard surfaces and stainless steel under commercial exhaust hoods; the aviation corridor is wide, tall, and defined by instructional props; the cafeteria has garage doors that open the dining area to the outdoors. Rendering each space convincingly meant understanding its functional logic before setting a camera angle.

My Role

• Produced interior rendering suite covering every major program space — culinary kitchen, cafeteria with garage doors open, lecture hall, aviation corridor, reception, collaboration loft, vestibule, and corridor views
• Produced stairwell design options package — 6 rendered configurations showing distinct design alternatives side by side for client and team review during DD
• Scanned interior key CTE program areas — point cloud capture used as spatial and material reference for rendering accuracy
• Coordinated with the project designer on material selections, spatial intent, and lighting conditions across all views
