How I approach every project

The BIM Coordinator is a firm-level infrastructure role — not embedded on project teams but responsible for the systems every project runs on. Setup happens once; the benefit compounds across the full project life.

01

Project Setup

Revit file, worksets, shared parameters, guide grid, view templates — calibrated to project type and WRA firm standards before the first designer opens the model.

02

Consultant Coordination

ACC design collaboration configured, consultant access set, linked model protocols established. Every consultant starts from the correct shared coordinate system.

03

Model Compliance

Phase milestone reviews at SD, DD, 50% CD, 95% CD, and bid issue — workset integrity, view naming, stray geometry, archive execution confirmed at every gate.

04

Standards Maintenance

Revit template updates propagate to every future project automatically. Improve the standard once; every job in the office benefits immediately.
